Seed | 2017
Clay, High Desert Seed Mix (see below) Ponderosa Pine | 3 x 7 ft.

Seed is a public art piece, and part of a larger, idea based project, installed at Cochiti Lake. As part of a series, Cochiti Lake, USACE hopes to connect the visitor to the artist and their methods while the artist connects the visitor to the land and the conditions. Materials are locally sourced and readily available. Seed (including other public works) are extrapolated from mark-making as well as surrounding the concepts that deal with the preservation of land with the requisite of use.
